Men face the complexities of many facets of the 21st century, including societal expectations, mental health challenges, and the impact of technology on daily lives. As traditional notions of masculinity evolve, many men find themselves having to navigate conflicting pressures, from being emotionally available while also facing traditional stigma around vulnerability.

• Mark and Zac discussed these issues at length, especially for our members and colleagues in the policing environment – how to balance career goals, family responsibilities, and personal wellbeing. 

• They explored the ever-changing landscape, where modern men increasingly seek authenticity, connection, and support, striving for what it means to be a man in today’s society.

Finally, we heard from Adam at Police Care UK about the support they can offer both serving and veteran police officers and staff.
