Mark Brooks OBE

Mark is a sector leader and thought leader in the fields of men's health, inclusion and domestic abuse. He has received an OBE and an Honorary Doctorate for his work in these fields.

He is the chair of trustees for the ManKind Initiative charity for male victims of domestic abuse, a co-founding trustee of the Men and Boys Coalition charity and a national ambassador for International Men’s Day UK. He is also the policy adviser of the All Party-Parliamentary Group on Issues Affecting Men and Boys, which was formed in 2021. He has worked at communications director-level at two national charities.

He regularly appears in the media, works with Government/public bodies/employers and has recently well-received written policy reports on male suicide, boys’ education and a men’s health strategy. His website is https://www.mark-brooks.co.uk
