Richard Crabtree

Richard qualified in 1993 and worked in personal injury since. He has done a lot of work in catastrophic injury claims, particularly involving brain and spinal injury, recovering more than £150million in compensation. He has previously worked in several city centre practices focusing on acting for individuals who have suffered serious injuries. The claims have predominantly been for people who have suffered brain injury, ranging from subtle brain injury to those requiring 24/7 care.

He works closely with charities, particularly Child Brain Injury Trust, and was the secretary at the CBIT group at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for over ten years and still fundraises for them.

Richard is Chair of the charity, Aftermath Support which assists victims of road traffic collisions in Merseyside, Cheshire, and Lancashire.
