Raymond Williams

Police Relationship Manager - Slater and Gordon

Most of Raymond's working life has been in public service. Early in his career, he was involved in piloting the National Driver Improvement Scheme - retraining offending drivers rather than prosecuting them.

He spent over 20 years with North Wales Police, recently retiring as Sergeant. As a police officer, his main area of expertise was as a Family Liason Officer - supporting families following an unexpected death of a loved one through murder, manslaughter, or a road death and leading investigations in Serious and Fatal Road Traffic Collisions.

Prior to retirement, Raymond received the Chief Constable’s commendation in recognition of his commitment, dedication, and work ethic displayed while supporting the families of people who have sadly lost their lives in road traffic collisions over many years.
