Wellbeing Lead - PFEW

Paul joined Cumbria Police in 2000. He became a tutor constable before specialising in TSG, covering CT search, firearms, and public order becoming a trainer in PST, Taser, PSU, and a PSU Tac advisor, before eventually settling back to response as a sergeant.

Paul joined the federation initially as a workplace rep, representing mainly in areas of misconduct, becoming branch chair in 2019. Being a small branch he dealt with all areas including H&S, equality, misconduct and many civil cases before applying and being successful in getting onto the National Board. Paul quickly took on the role of Wellbeing co-lead, covering the four strands of wellbeing. He is looking forward to constantly developing and encouraging improvements in support and care for all police officers.
