Nick Walter

Field Officer, Metfriendly

Nick is married with two grown up children and two rescue dogs that keep him fit.

He served in the Met Police for 30 years and left as a Sergeant in 2010. Following his retirement from the Met, he had a few different jobs including being a bathroom designer, a Border Force Officer and has worked for Metfriendly since 2016.

In 2017 he took over as the lead on Police pensions for Metfriendly and has been managing their popular Pre-retirement Options seminars and webinars since then. He delivers the pensions input on these events that are open to all of the UK Police. He also supports officers on a 121 basis, helping them understand their Police pensions and provides information on how Metfriendly can help them to invest their pension commutations.
