Mark Andrews
PFEW Health and safety lead
Mark Andrews had been a Wiltshire officer for more than 20 years and a Federation rep for 10 of those. He has experience representing officers in conduct, equality and performance matters and have really enjoyed that aspect of the work because fighting for fairness is his passion. Mark is also NEBOSH and PIP trained. He was the chair of Wiltshire Police Federation for three years before being kindly voted in as the region six National Board rep which incorporates Avon and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire. Being chair is a role he enjoyed and one in which he felt he made a real difference to the local membership.
Mark put himself forward for the National Board because he believed he could utilise the same working practices in order to make a positive change to the wider membership. Since joining the Board, he has taken on the health and safety working stream, utilising his knowledge of the area, and he is looking forward to bringing a renewed emphasis to this position.
