Leona Roberts

Leona Roberts is an Associate in the criminal and regulatory team at DAC Beachcroft and specialises in police law. She represents the interests of police officers who face criminal and disciplinary allegations and has considerable experience in advising Key Police Witnesses during Post Incident Procedures (following a death or serious injury after police contact) and any associated Coronial proceedings arising thereafter. Leona's thorough approach, in often sensitive and high profile cases, ensures officers receive an exceptional standard of service. Leona has recently worked and advised on the Undercover Policing Inquiry and the Supreme Court case of Officer W80, the latter being an example of where a Post Incident Procedure was called. Leona regularly provides training on Post Incident Procedures to the Police Federation, Police Firearms Officers Association and other governmental agencies. She has advised a number of Detectives as part of this process.
