Kathryn joined CFRS as a retained firefighter in January 2000. Serving in several roles across the service she was appointed as CFO in May 2021.
Passionate about equity and achieving this across the fire sector. The fire service is a great, well-respected service with amazing passionate people, but everyone must be given the right environment to thrive in their role.
As the National Fire Chief Council lead for Equality, Diversity, and inclusion and a Director for Women in the Fire Service, the opportunity for change has never been greater and the time to act is now.
