Jess Davies

Jess Davies became the first female chair of West Midlands Police Federation in May 2025. Immediately before this, she worked as a sergeant on Response, a role she thoroughly enjoyed, despite its challenges.

Jess joined West Midlands Police in 2001, following in the footsteps of her father who also served with the Force as an officer and her mother who was a police staff member.

Early in her career, she worked on Response in Birmingham and the Central Motorway Policing Group before a four-year career break.  Jess returned to the Force in 2020, becoming a workplace Federation representative in 2021.
