Helen Tomlinson has forged a respectable career, dedicating over 25 years to a variety of sales, recruitment and strategic commercial management roles. Today, she is working tirelessly to champion inclusive workplaces, having been appointed as the UK Government’s first Menopause Employment Champion. With such a title, Helen is committed to improving workplace support of those experiencing Perimenopause and Menopause, driving increased support of Women across the country. Now hired as a speaker for a variety of corporate events, Helen details how organisations can be more supportive and inclusive employers – with a deep focus on those experiencing Menopause.

In 2021, Helen was appointed as the Head of Talent Development for The Adecco Group, a role in which she continues to excel today. Now also focussing on inclusion at The Adecco Group, Helen also shares her time as the Menopause Employment Champion for the UK Government. As the Menopause Employment Champion, Helen is committed to educating employers on how they can be more supportive by developing Menopause policies. In a world where one in four women are reported to leave their jobs due to the symptoms of Menopause, Helen is committed to ensuring that women don’t feel they have to leave work by making workplaces more inclusive. Empowering women to stay and progress in work despite experiencing Menopause, Helen applies the principles of education and allyship to create cultural change.

Helping businesses to realise the business benefits of having an enlightened approach to EDI, Helen drives positive and pragmatic change. Having also hosted a podcast surrounding Menopause, Helen has not only inspired The Adecco Group to implement the UK’s first corporate menopause policy, but countless other businesses country-wide.
