Hayley Aley

Wellbeing Lead - PFEW

Hayley started her policing career 24 years ago as a response officer at Warwickshire Police and has been a Fed rep since 2008 and a National Board member for a decade. She is also a busy mum of five.

Over the years Hayley has specialised in multiple areas including learning and development, equality and women’s reserve. More recently her work has focused on wellbeing and the women's network, championing better support for members going through menopause, via the Menopause Action Group and liaising regularly with key stakeholders.

Hayley aims to educate and influence policing to understand the effects of menopause and all women’s health issues.

As co-lead for wellbeing, Hayley is pressing for preventative measures to be put in place by forces and is involved in the development of the Police Covenant, ensuring support is consistent throughout an officer’s career from day one to retirement, covering all aspects of their roles including mental health support.

Hayley continues to be passionate about all aspects of the work she undertakes on behalf of members and pledges to do her best to secure positive change.
