Gabriel Milland

Gabriel Milland has been a PFEW employee since November 2025. He is currently Interim Managing Director, replacing his previous role as Director of External Relations, He was a Senior Civil Servant at the Department for Education, the Ministry of Justice and the Cabinet Office, leading large teams in all of those departments. He also oversaw research for government communications for the first six months of the pandemic as a Special Adviser to the Prime Minister. After leaving the civil service he worked as a consultant on research and policy for clients including many of the world’s biggest corporations, NGOs and several national governments. He has also been a journalist and academic. He holds a PhD from the University of Leicester.
