Dr Sean Bell

Sean is a retired senior police officer with broad policing experience in operational and strategic roles and executive officer of local police federation.

On retirement from the police, Sean entered academia conducting PhD research centered on police officer/staff attitudes to colleagues and members of the public with mental health issues, which included aspects of police culture and the impact of stigma and discrimination towards colleagues with mental health issues.

He was awarded undergraduate and post graduate degrees by Liverpool John Moores University.
