Baroness Mary Bousted

Mary is an Honorary Professor at UCL Institute of Education, London, and a fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. She is an education consultant and commentator with extensive experience in the field. Previously, she served as the joint General Secretary of the National Education Union, the largest education union in Europe and the third largest union in the TUC, representing over half a million members. Her term of office concluded in August 2023. Drawing on over 20 years of successful leadership in two major unions, Mary provides consultancy advice on effective strategic and operational leadership for membership organisations.
