Dave Bamber
Retired Police Sergeant
Dave first started his policing journey in the late 1980s as a Special Constable, joining the Police as a regular officer in the early part of the 90s and was promoted to Sergeant in the early 2000s. Dave has recently retired from the Police after spending the later part of his service as a National PFEW representative, during which time he became the lead for Professional Development and was a Non-Executive Director at the College of Policing. Dave now works as an Independent End Point Assessor, assessing Student Officers on the PCDA prior to them completing their initial three years of training.
