Chief Executive - The National Appropriate Adult Network

Chris Bath is chief executive of the National Appropriate Adult Network (NAAN), which provides the national centre of expertise on the appropriate adult (AA) role. The charity has around 100 member organisations from the voluntary, private and public sectors – from AA providers to police forces. His work includes supporting policymakers, commissioners, practitioners, and the public, including by developing standards, training, research, policy and guidance.  Chris is a member of the Home Office’s PACE Strategy Board, a board member of the Alliance for Youth Justice, a Fellow of the international Access to Justice Knowledge Hub, and a co-founder of the British Society of Criminology’s Vulnerability Research Network.
