Calum Steele

General Secretary of the International Council of Police Representative Associations

Calum Steele is the General Secretary of the International Council of Police Representative Associations (ICPRA), a role he has held since 2010. He recently retired from the police after 30 years of service, 19 of which were with the Scottish Police Federation, with 15 of those as General Secretary.

In his time in office Calum was the Deputy Staff Side Secretary for the then UK wide Police Negotiating Board (PNB), and subsequently the Staff Side Secretary for the PNB in Scotland from 2013. He was Vice President (2014) then President (2018) of the European Confederation of Police; Between EuroCOP and ICPRA Calum represents the interests of over 2million police officers globally.
