Brian Booth
Acting Deputy National Chair - PFEW
Brian, currently the Acting Deputy National Chair, began his service with West Yorkshire Police in 1995. With most of his career focused on the operational side of policing, he has developed extensive expertise in Armed Response and Roads Policing. Driven by a commitment to fairness, he joined the Federation in 2014 and served as chair of the Sergeants board and later as chair of the West Yorkshire Federation. In 2022, he joined the National Board as the Roads Policing lead.
Beyond his policing responsibilities, Brian is studying for a master’s degree in Police Leadership, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional growth. He also volunteers with a local management company and serves as a director for Blue Line Health. A vocal advocate for highlighting positive stories in policing, he works to balance public perceptions by promoting the constructive aspects of police work in the media.
