Dr Jami Blythe

Dr Jami Blythe is Brake, road safety charity's head of development. A former police officer with Northumbria, Jami worked in roads policing and family liaison for the majority of her service. Jami also worked in 'Operation Dragoon' and was responsible for coordinating a partnership road safety programme.

Jami went on to complete a Professional Doctorate in young driver road safety at the University of Sunderland and now uses her skills and experience in the post-crash care charitable sector - namely Brake road safety charity's National Road Victim Service which supported more than 1500 bereaved and injured people in 2023.
